Creator of Dreams

The creator of dreams
hides among the recesses of mind
to us it seems
To never take permanent form
as the landscape moves and twines
but stories continue, forlorn
So we capture their delicate fiber
and wonder to their meaning
to their origin, we seek to discover
The author carries no name
for their existence is veiled
to the mind, us and it are the same
So knowing the message
we can only guess
letting it reside, unblemished
For future times it may be
hold a candle close
but careful to not to glee
For the heart knows of such things
feeling the fruit
of our eternal being
So fret not between the seams
trust the foretelling
the creator of dreams
