A Brief History Of Rhyme By Paul Kerr
The Universe relaxed The rarest matter A wishing sigh Had passed To kiss the slow And make them fast, For rare the matter Had to grow. Universe expanded Rarest matter Asked to know, And universe demanded The rarest sigh Should never show. Wishing as the sigh forgot The faster rare Had not took care, The perfect sigh Had lost the share, An echo in the rarest air. And only sound Found perfect spare Where echos listened For the sighs The sighs knew echos Called them there. The rarest sigh Was not so rare An echo bounced Off light somewhere To give the shade An echos pair A perfect little sigh To share.
Now light and sound Were happy too The perfect sigh An echo knew. Now was this just A matter of, A wishing sigh That passed to slow To give the light A brighter glow. The rarest sight A sigh could know So rare the sound so rare the glow. A little sigh An echo knew The sigh the sound The echo threw, Had taught the light It might shine too The rarest sigh That wished it do. The echo that Rare matter knew The rarest matter Was a sigh That wished, The universe sigh too.
