She Breathes
In this place, thick with God
I wait, I think, it won't be long
Until the aire we breathe is clean
Deep, buried secrets, soon to be seen
Gaia breathes a sigh of ease
We've broken her spirit, we've cut down her trees
Her trees are her cells, her water-her dreams
The soil is her muscle. Stretching, she screams
Winds and rain and earth that shakes
So much has been done, no more could she take
Some souls bravely go, a lesson to see
Others bravely remain, to help make us free
Free to accept that which we have feared
We now act from love, the air has been cleared
Thank you Gaia, for the home that you give
The soul never stops. Forever, we live
